Exhibition Aftermath

News

I had my first Lost@Home exhibition, and it was amazing! I am so happy with how it turned out. It was a lot of hard work, but it was worth it. My man Fabian (@lichtbilder.emip) had a great vision for the whole setup, and it came alive with all the art and positive energy from everyone. It wouldn’t have been possible to put everything together without the help of my broski @djjimpanse. He introduced me to Fabian and helped us bring the exhibition together, along with our favorite lil dog Lori.

It really did take a little more than 11 hours to finish setting up. For me, it was a great learning experience. I learned a lot from Fabi about how to adjust to new situations and pay attention to the smallest of details.

The exhibition took place in dstrct.Berlin; it used to be Europe’s largest slaughterhouse. We had so much open space, and the surrounding construction gave the space a more industrial look and feel. Working with @dstrct.berlin was incredible. I am grateful to Amy, Daria, and the whole @dstct.berlin team that provided the space and hosted the exhibition. They did everything possible to make sure we had what was needed for the exhibition.

I am also thankful for everyone who came by to say hi, checked out the art, and shared the experience with us. Everything felt beautiful. We also sold some pictures, which was the icing on the cake for me. Everyone’s feedback was very positive and energizing.

I know some couldn’t make it. It’s all good; I hope to have more in the future. The only way from here is up… or down too, I guess, but always moving forward.

I am still on cloud 9. It’s been hard to come down, but I’m looking forward to creating more images and sharing the journey with everyone.

Once again we have a new playlist for your ear holes. Thank you DJ JimPanse. And special thanks to Paul for the pics and video.
